4.LED Comparison of infrared 850nm and 940nm products and applications:
LED has types of red burst (850 nm) and no red burst (940 nm) categories. Red explosive products' wavelength is 850nm when close observing, infrared light will emit a dark red light. The one without red burst is infrared led 940nm, when used, the surface does not have any light, so more subtle. For a camera, wavelength sensitivity of 850nm is 10 times better than the 940nm. So 850nm has a higher efficiency, it should be the first choice of infrared light.
